YUKATA LOVES LONDON… and Virgin Atlantic also!

This was send to me sometime ago, but i had to much work to go properly through it. Just bumped into it again last night, and it's a really nice online entertaining operation.
The pitch?
Yukata is a Japanese developer. He loves London.
He loves so much London, that he wants to show you around. The clubs, the cool bars…the museums… (the selection is mainstream but up to date)
Ah, he loves it so much that he would really like you to go there. Cos’ it’s so cool…
But if you decide to make the trip, better travel with Virgin Atlantic.

Philips's good idea…

Misinformation goes fast in the blogosphere.
The news that Philips had created a new technology that wouldn’t allow people to skip TV commercials spread quickly. So quicly that Philipps had to issue a statement…on the blogosphere.
“Inventors from Royal Philips Electronics (Philips) filed a patent application, as yet not granted, that enables watching a television movie without advertising. However, some people do want to see the ads. So, we developed a system where the viewer can choose, at the beginning of a movie, to either watch the movie without ads, or watch the movie with ads. It is up to the viewer to take this decision, and up to the broadcaster to offer the various services. Philips never had the intention to force viewers to watch ads against their will and does not use this technology in any current Philips products, nor do we have any plans to do so.”

PSP Banners

It’s been a very long time since an online banner actually made me laugh.
This one did… the idea is somewhere out there, the copywriting is tight and the execution is great.
“I got personality…”

CPB for VW

Effective? Irresponsible? Right to the point? Breaking ?

Having been in a lot of car accidents i think the way they show how they happen is really/scarily close to reality.
I just wonder if they have ABS on the jetta, because the sound made when breaking suggest it doesn't...
Straight to the point advertising.

Make your opinion:

Opening of the new Bathing Ape shop in HK

Day -2 / Night-2 / Day-1 / Night-1 / Opening Day
A bit more than 2000 people were there. It’s certainly not in Paris that you would see such craze for a street/fashion event.

New iPod+ iTunes TV ad

It's really hard working on a now well established icon. The product is iconic, the ads are iconic, the graphic design is iconic...
But still, they used what was good, and pushed it a bit further... Very nice job.

The Wynton Marsalis TV Ad ad targets cool 30s+ while the eminem ad, well, it's
Eminem ...

Yeah so it's Saturday and i'm still at work, fighting with my team of ADs and Flash developper to get out a great project for Coca-Cola.
It's a nice morning to give some time to my blog, virgin of any post since almost two weeks...
