We Are Ideas

New Coca-Cola Website US

Ok, so I’ve read sometime ago an article about this marketing manager @ Coke US (USA). She was explaining the rebuilding of the red coke brand, less statutory and closer to its young target. She was also thanking Dan, from Wieden and Kennedy, for his help in putting Coke back where it’s supposed to be on a strategical, brand oriented, point of view.
Sometimes I feel that strategy is just strategy. It’s just some words, stuck onto a PowerPoint, with a suit&tie guy trying to put life into it (yeah that’s me).
Here, I have just spent 15 mn, on the site, laughing, browsing around… Coke entertained me for 15mn, in the middle of a really busy/hectic “work like a slave” day. All the videos in “get inspired” are worth to check (except one). The commercials are very tight…especially the ring one.

Gave me some “nice move kid, fresh is fresh” feeling.
I can feel the extremely vibrant and entertaining power point behind all this.
The kind that gives butterflies in your belly... And, no, there’s no cure for this feeling, I’ve asked.

I guess the guys at Wieden don’t wear ties…nor suits.
Coke it
